In auto parts e-commerce, search is the product. A customer who cannot find the exact part for their exact vehicle buys nothing, no matter how good the rest of the shop is. This platform is built around that single fact. The core is VIN-based lookup: a customer enters their vehicle identification number and only sees parts that actually fit their car.

Getting that right means integrating and reconciling fitment, inventory, and pricing data from four external APIs, each with its own format, failure modes, and rate limits. Around the core: real-time search that responds as the customer types, and interactive maps for pickup locations. The engagement started as a single milestone-based contract with defined scope. It became an ongoing partnership, and I still maintain and extend the platform today.
